A tab interaction is used to manage cognitive load as learners are introduced to the ADDIE model. Rather than presenting extensive information on a single screen, the visual interactions show each phase in a single layout, presenting one piece of information at a time.
The Drag & Drop feature was developed to practice knowledge application, and reinforce specific behaviors of an instructional designer.
The project includes variables that hold dynamic data based on the user's input, conditions attached to triggers, and simple animations to showcase the custom menu.
The menu gives learners freedom to choose which content they engage with, while using a true/false variable to track when sections are complete. Having more control of their learning experience, leading to a more authentic understanding.
